UPDATE: I will not be interviewing for a while until I get back on my authorly feet.
Sorry for the troubles! 8/31/2015

Hi, gang!

I've just been hit hard by the muse bug, not for my novels, but for yours! I'm so excited, I hope you guys love what inspired me!

I would LOVE to interview your *MCs from any one of your books. If you have 8 books, I could do 8 different interviews per character in there. Or I could your villain--whomever you want. I will post it on my blog along with your site and book. How's that for a marketing promo?

If you would like to join me on this adventure, please send me 1) some strong highlights and basic synopsis--okay, it can be a rough and as unedited as you like, I just need to know what your book/s is/are about 2) along with basic info about the character you want me to interview with your blog/website and 3) book title, and book jacket if you have one along with your e-mail address.

I'll tailor the questions according to your info and email them off to you.

This is a great way for you to connect with your characters as you answer the questions I will send you! I can't wait to get this started!

What reader wouldn't like to get know more about their favorite character behind the scenes?

updated:*This goes for unpublished WIPs, too! ;)

  4. Ooh! This sounds like fun. I'm a fan of character interviews as a way of getting into my characters' heads but it would be awesome to have them answer someone else's questions for a change.

  5. This sounds like a fun idea. My characters already blog over at the Character Cafe but to have someone different interview would be interesting. I'll be giving this some serious thought and maybe will take you up on this idea in the near future.

  13. Elizabeth, this sounds like sooo much fun!!! I am very passionate about my characters! I will send you an interview submission asap regarding a character from my soon-to-be-released novel. Might be fun for people to get to know her a little beforehand - plus, it helps get me inspired for the sequel. :) Thanks so much, Elizabeth! Love your blog!

  15. Sounds nice. My people have been stuck IN the CHAIR http://theinterviewedcharacter.blogspot.com for a while now. They would probably love to talk to someone else. Seeing how they are always stuck in my head. Right now we're going through an 'if I could rewrite my story' phase, but I'll ask them and get back with you

I just finished a book (my first) early this year, but it is still unpublished... Of course, I'm working on that! :) I would be very interested in an interview, if you were interested as well.... Oh, either way, so much fun!

  24. I've got a book coming out in early 2015 for CQ and would love to have you interview one of the characters. That sounds like fun! In fact, it would be great if you'd interview my villain as she doesn't get a POV in the book and she has a lot to say. Hit me up @mirymom1 to talk about it.
